TESTIMONIALS

DIANE'S PAINTINGS TRANSCEND THE IMMEDIATE SUBJECT BY LINKING THE LIVING SPIRIT OF AN ANIMAL WITH OUR OWN.

Diane Weiner is a master artist, equally skilled in several classical methods which she utilizes in her portrayals of the human figure, portrait, landscape, and still life. Her figure drawings require a mastery achieved only through long and dedicated effort.  Her oil paintings of landscape bring a depth of appreciation for nature in its many manifestations, and her still life paintings bring drama to the otherwise ordinary.  But her special niche is, of all subjects, the portrayal of cows.  These exquisitely rendered depictions of anatomical details, of furry skin, of eyes, of ears, coupled with the graceful portrayal of their bodily forms and gestural movements elevate a seemingly ordinary if not overlooked subject to the sublime.  To experience Diane Weiner’s art is to see beyond the everyday of normal existence, transcending to a deeply enriching perception of our world.  It accomplishes this through the discipline of the hard earned classical methods of making art.

...THIS PARTICULAR PAINTING MARRIES DIANE'S TECHNICAL MASTERY WITH HER SLY HUMANISM.

I have several of Diane’s works, silver points, etchings, and oils.  The one that I am most attached to, and which follows me as I move from place to place, finding a spot of honor in each new home, is of a gorgeous cow.  She is beautiful, corporeal, regal and knowing.  All of Diane’s works are wonderful, but this particular painting marries Diane’s technical mastery with her sly humanism.  It would be strange not to have her watching over things.

DIANE'S WORK CELEBRATES ALL BODIES IN THE MOST AFFIRMING WAY.

The emotion Diane is able to capture in a portrait is like nothing I have ever seen. I look at the Diane Weiner original hanging in our home and notice new details in it everyday.

PRIVATE COLLECTOR

Although we were tremendously impressed with all of Diane’s expressive cow paintings, we immediately were “wowed” by Golden Haze, whom we affectionately dubbed “Goldie”.  The eyes are gentle and knowing and the face just invites a happy glance. We have her prominently displayed and are thrilled with Diane’s artistry.

PRIVATE COLLECTOR

Diane's art is moving, emotional, intelligent, peaceful and exciting, a feast for the eyes, really just magnificent.
