 about

Diane is passionate about drawing and painting. She is a contemporary realist who pursues ideas in series. The human body, with it’s unique contours, gestures, and emotions, is one of her favorite subjects. Her drawings are executed in a wide range of materials varying from Renaissance media such as metal point, red chalk and trois crayon, to more current applications of charcoal and pen and ink. She is a graduate of SUNY at New Paltz and continues to study.  She taught art and photography for fifteen years and now is fortunate to devote  her time exclusively to her art. She exhibits extensively. Her current oil portraits of bovines express the cow’s immense strength,  personalitiy, and interactions. .
